Some photographic evidence

Jenni made mochi that she wished she could share with Julia:

There were MOUNTAINS of snow for a very long time.  They finally finished melting, but today it snowed AGAIN.  We are very put out.

The takeout containers build up in Jenni's room:

The first really warm day was 3/23 (right?)  Brown students tried to cover all the grass on the Main Green, as usual.

David ate bowl noodle soup:

Lorenna explained at weekly meeting that Scott used to have short hair.  Fortunately, she brought a picture to prove her statement.  Some people weren't sure whether this is really Scott!

Ryan played the zoom-out guessing game at CHC.  It was Pikachu!!!

Scott is still trying to look creepy:

We made truffles at a girl's night after weekly meeting.  It was Sheryl-vi's idea:

Worship Team misses you:

In fact, everyone misses you!  Stay safe and come back ASAP!! =)

In class

This is Scott. I'm sitting in my Counseling class in Boston right now and learning about cultural analysis.  My professor is mentioning theories of anthropology and it reminded me of you, Julia.  I figured that someone should really be updating this blog.  I'm being sneaky right now.  I'm typing, pretending that it's for class notes, but guess what?  It's not!

So is there anything new to tell Julia?  Ren started home groups and CHC is heavily involved with the East Side home group.  Anna is hosting, Lorenna is facilitating, David is teaching.  My role is napkin provider.

I had a cocktail party with Derek, David, and Jihoon for Derek's 21st.  It was a very responsible party.  The most surprising drink was the Oatmeal Cookie.  It really tasted like an oatmeal cookie!  Props go to Anna's cocktail book.

Jenni and I have been watching movies on the weekend.  One Saturday we watched Star Wars Episode 4 and last week we watched cuttlefish having sex.  Jenni is also a bad person because when she asked me for restaurant suggestions for visitors to take her out to dinner, she wanted to know what the most expensive ones in Providence were.

I've been applying for all sorts of crazy jobs during the past two months: milk man, bartender, private investigator, casino worker, third shift warehouse worker, data processor.  But it looks like God wants me to stay in ministry, because the only thing that's been opening up is that youth director position.  I'm going to be starting it up in the next week.  I'm excited.

Ok the prof just announced break.  I'm gonna go get McDonald's for dinner.  If you judge me then you're being bourgeois because my break is only 15 minutes and McDonald's is the closest restaurant.  Byebye
